Job summary

Camp Australia is hiring a childcare educator to lead a dedicated team at our Harrisdale service in WA. You will design engaging activities, provide safe supervision, and foster strong relationships with children and families. A Diploma in childcare is required, along with checks and certificates.

We offer a $1,500 sign-on bonus, permanent contract terms, and support through training and benefits programs. Availability is required from early morning to late afternoon, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in childcare
• Working with Children Check
• First Aid/ CPR/ Anaphylaxis/ Asthma certificates
• National Child Safety Training
• Availability 6:30 am - 8:30 am and 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

In this role, you'll design and maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program. Plan exciting daily activities for primary-aged Children. Prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks, and build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local school community.

ABOUT YOU

• Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.
• Completed a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain)
• Availability from 6:30 am - 8:30 am and 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. (plus admin, full time role)
• Valid Child Protection training Certificate and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
