Job summary

Camp Australia in Mackay, QLD is seeking an enthusiastic ECEC leader to design and deliver engaging activities for primary-aged children, ensuring a safe, compliant program and strong relationships with families and the school community.

You’ll lead a team of educators, coordinate activities across before school, after school, and holiday periods, and contribute to a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Completed or working towards a childcare-related Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Working with Children Check Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain).
• Availability 6:30 am - 8:30 am and 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Valid Child Protection training Certificate and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain an engaging, safe, and compliant program.
• Plan exciting daily activities for primary-aged children.
• Prepare and serve delicious, healthy snacks.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and the local school community.
• Lead a passionate team of educators dedicated to a safe, welcoming space.
