Job summary

Rockhampton-based childcare service is seeking a Service Director to lead our team of educators, ensure safety, and deliver high-quality learning experiences for children from before school to after school and holidays.

The role invites Diploma-qualified candidates (or working toward) with Blue Card, First Aid and related certifications; involves liaising with families, staff development, and complying with child-safety standards.

Qualifications

• Completed or working towards a childcare Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain).
• Availability 6:30 am – 8:50 am and 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the childcare service and ensure a safe, nurturing environment.
• Engage with families to support children's development and community engagement.

ABOUT YOU

Enthusiastic, engaging approach to childcare with strong relationship-building skills.

Completed or working towards a childcare related Diploma or equivalent.
