Job summary

seek.com.au is seeking a Service Supervisor to coordinate and oversee the service department in a fast-paced environment in Newcastle, NSW. You will manage dispatch, scheduling, invoicing, and technician coordination to ensure service delivery meets customer expectations.

The role requires excellent communication, solid MS Office skills, and the ability to liaise with customers, technicians and sales staff; prior supervisor experience in the service industry is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a demanding service industry in a supervisor role.
• Strong communication and telephone skills.
• Ability to coordinate day-to-day technician activities.

Responsibilities

• Daily co-ordination, dispatch and monitoring of inbound and outbound service calls.
• Prioritise and allocate service calls for customers.
• Liaise with customers on job updates, invoicing and scheduling installations.
• Coordinate with service technicians on call status and progress.
• Manage parts ordering, quotes and dockets from technicians.
• Collaborate with other teams on parts, warranty, sales and installations.
• Schedule preventative maintenance services and provide timely reports.
• Assist invoicing and staffing for service department activities.
