Job description

Service Delivery and TSA Operations Manager

Source's client, PLUS ES is entering an exciting new chapter. As they continue their journey as a leader in metering and data services, they are building smarter infrastructure solutions at the intersection of technology, service and sustainability, powering the energy and resource transition across Australia. This is a rare moment to shape what PLUS ES becomes next, with a steadfast commitment to delivering the reliable, accurate data and insights a sustainable energy future depends on.

PLUS ES’s mission is to deliver smarter infrastructure and data to enable a sustainable tomorrow, and our vision is to keep innovating today for tomorrow's energy challenges. As they evolve they are doubling down on what makes them who we are: Safety, Team, Customer, Innovation and Accountability.

About the Role

This is a newly created role at the heart of PLUS ES's separation from Ausgrid. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead the management of our Transition Services Agreement (TSA) with Ausgrid and our key vendor contracts, ensuring effective governance, service performance and stakeholder engagement.

You will be the primary point of coordination for all TSA related activity. This involves partnering with business leaders to manage obligations, mitigate risks, resolve issues, support executive governance and enabling informed decision making. Working closely with the Operations Transition Team, you will coordinate and deliver TSA exit outcomes against agreed timelines, and ensure the business is ready to stand on its own.

In this role you will take ownership of PLUS ES's key vendor contracts, establish effective governance frameworks, monitor service level agreements and contractual obligations, all to drive vendor performance. You will be the organisation's go-to person for vendor related matters, including the escalation and resolution of service delivery and performance issues.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and lead the joint TSA governance model and ways of working with Ausgrid, providing governance oversight across all TSA schedules.

Coordinate the review of service performance and reporting provided by partners, partnering with schedule owners to identify improvement opportunities and resolve issues.

Build and maintain productive working relationships across Ausgrid, PLUS ES schedule owners and key stakeholders, facilitating alignment on priorities.

Identify, coordinate and monitor TSA-related risks, issues and dependencies, facilitating resolution across PLUS ES and Ausgrid stakeholders.

Partner with the Operations Transition Team to support TSA exit activities, ensuring dependencies and service impacts are represented through governance forums.

Develop governance materials, dashboards and briefing papers for working groups, operational forums and Steering Committees.

Act as the key escalation point for vendor service delivery, performance or contractual issues, coordinating with Procurement, Legal and business stakeholders to resolve them.

Support the development and operationalisation of new and updated vendor agreements, ensuring SLAs, KPIs and governance arrangements are clearly defined before service commencement.

Coordinate regular vendor performance reviews, identifying recurring issues and driving corrective action and improvement plans.

About You

You bring at least 5 yearsof experience in a similar role and demonstrated experience managing complex contract and service arrangements, governance frameworks, outsourcing relationships, or separation and integration programs. You are comfortable working in environments where accountability and decision-making are shared across organisations, and you know how to coordinate obligations, dependencies and stakeholder outcomes across multiple business functions.

You have supported executive governance and steering committees, and you build trusted relationships at every level, from operational teams through to senior stakeholders . You bring strong governance, commercial and operational acumen, sound judgement in ambiguous situations, and the communication skills to prepare clear executive papers and briefing materials.

Experience within utilities, energy, infrastructure or regulated services is highly regarded, as is prior experience managing TSAs within carve-out, separation, merger or acquisition environments. You will hold a qualification in Business, Commerce, Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Organisational Change or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Why Apply?

This is a rare opportunity to shape the governance backbone of a major energy sector separation, with a direct line to the COO and genuine influence over how PLUS ES stands on its own as a business. You will be part of a team that lives its values of Safety, Team, Customer, Innovation and Accountability every day, at a pivotal moment in the organisation's history.

Please note: The successful candidate will be required to satisfactorily complete a criminal history check as part of the pre-employment screening process.

This organisation is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from all backgrounds.
