Drakes Supermarkets is seeking expressions of interest for a Part-Time Department Manager in Training in Central Adelaide. This role offers a clear pathway from 3rd in Charge to Department Manager with full on-site training.

You will support daily department operations, deliver excellent customer service, promote key lines or promotions, and assist with coaching the team. The position starts at 25 hours per week with attractive staff benefits.

The Role

The Department Manager in Training role offers a clear pathway from 3rd in Charge through to Department Manager and will provide all the necessary training for you to feel confident in the role. You would be responsible for supporting with the day-to-day operations of the department, providing excellent customer service, recommending key lines or promotions to our customers, as well as supporting the Department Manager with coaching and leading the team.

This is a permanent part-time position starting at 25 hours per week.

To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates who are eager to progress their career in a retail supermarket. You’ll have:
