Job summary

Drakes Supermarkets is seeking a Deli Manager-in-training to support day-to-day deli operations and lead a team in a retail supermarket environment. You will ensure product availability, maintain stock levels, and contribute to merchandising and rostering.

The role offers growth into deli management with on-site training and opportunities for promotion. Successful candidate will have food handling experience, strong leadership and customer service skills, and a proactive approach to problem

The Role

Reporting directly to the Deli Manager, this successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring full availability of products, and a high level of service to our customers.

Some of the key tasks include supporting the Department Manager with leading and coaching the team, ensuring inventory management compliance and accurate stock levels, merchandising, generating rosters and much more!

Availability Requirements

• Monday-Friday between 7am-6pm
• Fortnightly rotation of a Saturday or Sunday shift
• Ability to be flexible during periods of team leave.
• A willingness to support nearby stores if required.
