Job summary

Milwaukee Tools in Auckland seeks a Service Centre Administrator to join our service operations team at the Penrose centre. You will maximize efficiencies and serve as the point of contact for the Milwaukee Service Centre, working Monday to Friday in a supportive culture.

Full training provided; the role involves accepting customer tools, organizing freight, inventory management, booking repairs, and liaising with After-Sales to resolve warranty claims, with opportunities to develop admin and IT

Qualifications

  • Proficient admin skills and intermediate computer skills.
  • Experience with SAP, C4C, Salesforce or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and enthusiastic personality.
  • Demonstrated initiative and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Accept customer tools at walk-in service centre or by freight from partners.
  • Organise inbound/outbound freight to customers.
  • Pack/unpack freight and manage inventory.
  • Book repairs into the Warranty Portal and complete required documentation.
  • Allocate tools per operational workflow and assign spare parts with service claims.
  • Maintain records and stock locations; ensure correct allocation.
  • Coordinate with After-Sales for claim information.
  • Diagnose and replace batteries, chargers, and radios as needed.
  • Provide warranty claim updates to customers and retailers by phone and email.

We are currently seeking a Service Centre Administrator to join our friendly, growing team at our newly renovated Milwaukee Service Centre situated in Penrose, Auckland.

The Service Centre Administrator will work as part of the service operations team dedicated to supporting the Milwaukee Service Centre. As part of the team, this individual will maximise efficiencies and will act as point of contact for the Milwaukee Service Centre. Reporting to the Milwaukee Auckland Service Centre Manager, your duties will include:
  • Accepting customer tools either directly via our walk in service centre or by freight from our distribution partners
  • Organising all the associated freight incoming and outgoing back to customers
  • Packing and unpacking of freight and inventory management
  • Book incoming repairs into our Milwaukee Warranty Portal and completing necessary documentation
  • Allocating tools in accordance with operational workflow
  • Allocating ordered spare parts with relevant service claims
  • Maintaining records and allocating incoming spare parts stock on hand to correct locations
  • Communicate with After-Sales support team to obtain claim relevant information
  • Diagnose and replace batteries, chargers, radios and etc.
  • Provide customers and retailers with update on their warranty claims over the phone and emails
Skills and Experience required for this role:
  • Proficient admin skills and intermediate computer skills
  • Experience using SAP, C4C, Salesforce and/or other similar technology platforms (preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent ability to respond to deadline pressures and demonstrate time management skills
  • Great communication skills with enthusiastic personality;
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative;
  • Solid time management and attention to detail
  • We are happy to consider candidates from a retail or hospitality environment with good admin and IT skills
  • You will be required to work from 8am and 4.30pm.
  • If you are able to speak Mandarin, this would be an advantage.
