Job summary

Penske Australia & New Zealand is seeking a Parts Advisor in Kalgoorlie to support customers and the Service Department. You will interpret parts, assist with stock, and drive sales while collaborating with workshop and sales teams to meet customer needs.

The role emphasizes accurate stock handling, effective communication via phone, email and counter, and delivery of high service standards in a mining, transport and industrial context.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in parts, warehousing or a similar environment is desirable.
• Basic understanding of parts warehousing principles.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn and use parts and inventory systems.
• Good attention to detail with the ability to accurately receive, check and process stock and orders.

Job description

As a Parts Advisor, you’ll play an important role in keeping our customers and workshop moving! Based in our Kalgoorlie branch, you’ll enjoy a varied role combining parts interpreting and customer service with hands‑on responsibilities.

You’ll assist customers and the Service Department with interpreting market leading brands such as Detroit, MTU, Western Star, MAN, Meritor and Donaldson. Growing your own capabilities with in house and external training opportunities while growing the business.

We specialise in Mining, Transport, Power Generation, Marine and Defence. If you enjoy working within Australia’s key market segments Penske is for you.

About The Role

• Provide professional parts interpretation and customer service via phone, email and trade counter enquiries.
