Job summary

Parramatta BMW, part of Sime Darby Motors Retail (Australia) Pty Ltd, seeks an experienced service advisor to join the high-performing service team in a state-of-the-art showroom in Sydney’s Parramatta BMW & MINI Garage.

You will work with a dedicated team, helping drive our standards for BMW customer service, accuracy in invoicing, and ongoing product knowledge through internal training. Competitive compensation and uncapped earnings potential are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a client-facing / customer service role.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to relate to diverse people.
• Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Deal with customer service and repair requirements efficiently and courteously.
• Assist with loading the workshop to optimize capacity.
• Carry out follow-up and prospecting to grow workshop work volume.
• Prepare and cost customer invoices to Group Standards.
• Maintain product knowledge through manufacturer and internal training.
• Help meet and exceed key departmental performance indicators.

The role: Working as a service advisor alongside a results-oriented and highly dedicated service team within a newly refurbished state-of-the-art showroom, you'll have the opportunity to help drive our vision of defining and maintaining the exacting standards to which BMW customers truly deserve.

Roles and responsibilities will include:

• Deal with customer requirements for service and repair in an efficient and courteous manner to ensure the highest standard of Customer Service.
• Assist with the loading of the workshop to ensure efficient utilisation of workshop capacity.
• Carry out customer follow-up and prospecting activities to maintain and build the volume of work within the workshop.
• Accurately prepare and cost customer invoices to Group Standards.
• Build and maintain solid product knowledge through active participation in all manufacturer and internal training programs.
• Assist in meeting and exceeding key departmental performance indicator targets.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience in a similar client-facing / customer service role
• Excellent customer service skills including a pleasant welcoming manner and the ability to relate to a wide range of people both in-person and via telephone
• Demonstrated computer literacy including Microsoft Office, Excel etc..
• Advanced MS office and general computer skills.
