Job summary

Private Advertiser in Adelaide is seeking a proactive Workshop Manager to lead a fast-paced automotive service team, drive customer satisfaction, and improve operational efficiency.

You will coach staff, manage day-to-day operations Monday–Friday with Saturday mornings on a rotating basis, build strong relationships with customers and suppliers, and ensure quality and safety standards while delivering measurable performance.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in automotive workshop, service centre, or similar environment.
• Strong sales focus with ability to drive team performance and business growth.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills.
• Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen residing in South Australia.
• Available to work Monday to Friday plus alternating Saturday mornings.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Support, coach, and motivate the team to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and business partners.
• Monitor business performance and prepare regular KPI and target reports.
• Promote automotive products and services using your industry knowledge and expertise.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, workplace procedures and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, professional and customer-focused environment.
