As a Sentence Administration Officer, you’ll provide administration and records management services relating to the detention and release of inmates at Clarence Correctional Centre.
Working as part of the Sentence Management team and reporting to the Sentence Administration Manager, you’ll process legal and court documentation, maintain accurate inmate records and liaise with courts, government agencies and teams across the Centre.
Accuracy and attention to detail are essential in this role, as the information you manage directly supports lawful detention, court appearances, releases and inmate movements.
Opened in mid-2020, this 1,700-bed state-of-the-art facility is the largest correctional centre in Australia.
Located on the beautiful NSW North Coast, approximately 6 hours’ drive from Sydney and 3.5 hours from Brisbane, our region offers rainforests, epic headlands, sand dunes and some of Australia’s best beaches, together with vibrant multicultural cafés, restaurants and welcoming community towns.
You’re an organised and detail-focused administrator who understands the importance of getting things right. You’re comfortable managing sensitive information, working to competing deadlines and communicating with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
