Job summary

Serco is seeking a Program Facilitator in Australia to deliver therapeutic group programs for 10-12 prisoners, focusing on reducing violence and substance abuse. You will collaborate with a co-facilitator to help participants engage in behaviour change and build risk management plans to enhance community safety.

This role requires a degree in Psychology or Social Work, experience with group interventions in correctional or welfare settings, and strong reporting and communication skills to

Qualifications

• Degree (or progression toward) in Psychology or Social Work.
• Experience delivering group programs and interventions, ideally in correctional, welfare, or institutional settings.
• Demonstrated ability to manage group dynamics and work with participants with complex mental health or behavioural issues.
• Strong report writing and communication skills to document offender progress and behaviour.
• Understanding of cognitive behavioural approaches to address and change offending behaviours.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment and respond to diverse participant needs.

To Be Successful In This Role You’ll Have
