Job summary

University of Sydney invites applications for a Business Product Lead – Workforce Management to drive the workforce transformation across planning, scheduling and compliance. You will own the product vision, design the operating model and lead governance with HR, ICT and academic stakeholders to deliver integrated outcomes.

The role requires postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience, strong leadership and the ability to align multiple workstreams with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Experience leading product, operating model or enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Strong workforce management and HR domain knowledge, including workforce planning, workload allocation and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the workforce management product vision, target state roadmap and governance framework to align with university priorities and long-term transformation outcomes.
• Own the end-to-end design of workforce management capabilities including planning, workload allocation, scheduling, time and attendance, compliance and insights.
• Design and evolve the target operating model with governance, processes, controls and service delivery arrangements for sustainable change.
• Provide leadership across workforce management design activities, partnering with HR, academic, digital and ICT stakeholders for integrated outcomes.
• Drive alignment between workforce management and payroll, HR systems, timetabling and finance, managing dependencies and cross-program impacts.
• Support procurement, solution evaluation, implementation and benefits realisation to maintain design integrity and business objectives.
