Job summary

University of Sydney invites applications for Transformation Program Lead – Workforce Management (WFM) at Darlington Campus. You will lead day-to-day delivery of the WFM Target State Design and Implementation Roadmap, a multi-year HR-led transformation across workforce planning, workload allocation, scheduling, time and attendance, system integration, and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Senior program management experience in enterprise WFM/HR systems.
  • Design and implement WFM in large federated environments, preferably HE/public sector.
  • Knowledge of Australian employment frameworks and compliance is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead program design and delivery of the WFM Target State Design and Roadmap.
  • Drive change and HR operating model uplift across the University.
  • Governance, stakeholder engagement and reporting to executives.
  • Coordinate Digital Sydney and enterprise coordination efforts.
  • Plan integrations, manage vendor relationships and performance.
  • Oversee financial and resource management for the program.
  • Ensure governance, risk, and compliance across the program.

## Transformation Program Lead – Workforce Management (WFM)Apply: Darlington Campus: Full time: Posted Today: 0157602**• Full time fixed term until December 2026****• Lead a major workforce management transformation across the University****• Offering a competitive remuneration package including 17% superannuation** **About the opportunit**y The **Transformation Program Lead– Workforce Management (WFM)** will lead the day-to-day delivery of the Workforce Management (WFM) Target State Design and Implementation Roadmap, a critical, multi-year, HR-led transformation program to strengthen workforce planning, academic workload allocation, scheduling, time and attendance, system integration, and compliance assurance across the University’s diverse employee cohorts, enabled through integrated WFM technology and data. Your key responsibilities will be:• program leadership & integrated design and delivery• change and HR operating model uplift• stakeholder engagement & governance leadership• digital sydney & enterprise coordination• integration planning• vendor & delivery partner management• financial & resource management• governance and reporting. **About you** • knowledge of Australian employment frameworks, industrial relations obligations and workforce compliance requirements• experience managing budgeting and financial controls on large-scale programs• strong commercial and negotiation capability, including contract structuring and vendor performance management• demonstrated experience leading large-scale enterprise platform procurement and vendor selection• significant senior program management experience delivering enterprise Workforce Management implementation• deep experience in designing and implementing WFM or HR systems in large federated environments, ideally within the higher education or public sector• expertise in enterprise data, integration architecture and remediation strategy in complex system landscapes.**Sponsorship / work rights for Australia** You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply.
