Job summary

MAYDAY Recruitment partnering with a well‑established Australian organisation is seeking a Senior Systems & Reporting Specialist for a 6‑month parental leave contract in Sydney. The role focuses on managing and improving the organisation’s People Systems, reporting and processes to enhance the employee experience.

You will own Workday governance, analytics and system design, collaborating with stakeholders across the People function and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ hands‑on Workday configuration experience essential.
• Experience across Workday HCM and/or Recruitment desirable.
• Experience with Agile and JIRA project methodologies.
• Strong ticketing system experience and handling escalations.
• Advanced Excel and SharePoint skills for reporting and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimise Workday across the employee lifecycle.
• Partner with senior People stakeholders on governance and reporting needs.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support decision making and self‑service.
• Contribute to People Digital Strategy and evaluate new technologies.
• Assist with system implementations and process improvements.
• Provide guidance on system administration, security and change management.
• Create learning resources and maintain SharePoint content.
• Deliver training to managers and People team members on systems usage.
• Respond to system queries and resolve issues efficiently.
• Document changes and obtain approvals for enhancements.
