Job summary

QLeave Brisbane is seeking a Principal Advisor Health, Safety and Wellbeing to be the organisation's subject matter expert on workplace health and safety. You will lead initiatives to identify, assess and manage psychosocial and physical risks and work with leaders to embed safety into daily decision-making.

This role sits within the People, Culture and Capability team, combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading workplace health, safety and wellbeing initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of psychosocial risk management.
• Ability to influence and coach across leadership levels.
• Experience developing frameworks and practical tools.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and specialist advice across WHS portfolio.
• Strengthen psychosocial risk assessment and hazard identification.
• Partner with leaders to develop practical safety and wellbeing solutions.
• Develop policies, procedures, tools and resources.
• Monitor risks and regulatory changes to keep the organisation proactive.
