The City of Joondalup invites applications for the role of Senior Advisor – Work, Health and Safety. This full-time position leads the WHS advisory service, aligning practices with legislation and standards, and supports a safe workplace through program development and implementation.

Successful candidates will have strong communication and influencing skills, relevant tertiary qualifications, and the ability to collaborate with Directors, Managers and employees across the organisation.

Formación

• Demonstrated experience in a Senior WHS role within a medium to large organisation.
• Experience contributing to HR strategy activities.
• High level interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Contemporary knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations and standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the City’s WHS advisory service, ensuring best practice outcomes in line with legislation and Australian Standards.
• Contribute to the WHS strategy and provide specialist advice to Directors, Managers and Employees.
• Develop and implement WHS programs and improvements to support a safe workplace.
