Job summary

East Metropolitan Health Service is seeking a Principal Work Health Safety Consultant to lead the WHS advisory function across the health network. The role focuses on developing partnerships, providing expert advice on WHS programs and legislation, and guiding managers and staff in line with EMHS WHS systems and strategies.

Qualifications

• Experience in Work Health and Safety (WHS) advisory within large organisations.
• Ability to develop and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of WHS programs, legislations, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain effective partnerships with stakeholders to advise on WHS strategies.
• Provide expert WHS advice and services to managers and staff aligned with EMHS WHS systems.
• Lead and support WHS Consultants to deliver a comprehensive WHS consultancy service.
• Assist with planning, coordination and review of the EMHS WHS program to drive compliance with WHS Act 2020 and regulations.
