Job summary

Whiddon Kyogle is seeking a Wellbeing and Lifestyle Co-ordinator to drive meaningful activity programs for a diverse senior population. You will lead the Wellbeing & Lifestyle team, design engaging activities, and collaborate across care teams to enrich residents’ lives and support home care clients and independent living residents.

You will demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication, lead from the front, and uphold Whiddon’s relationship-based care approach through the MyLife

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or Diploma in Leisure and Health is required.
• Bus driving license or willingness to undertake this training is required.
• Experience in dementia-specific care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan and evaluate activities and programs for seniors.
• Lead and collaborate with the Wellbeing & Lifestyle team.
• Engage with residents, families and other care teams to deliver meaningful activities.
• Communicate effectively with residents and leaders to implement the MyLife model of care.
• Promote emotional and physical wellbeing and independence of residents.
