Job summary

Northrop Consulting Engineers seeks a Senior Water and Sewer Engineer to lead project teams and own technical delivery across residential, commercial, industrial and public infrastructure.

Based in Sydney, Newcastle or Brisbane, you will mentor graduates, manage client relationships, and deliver projects from concept to construction while supporting business development. This role offers hybrid work and a collaborative culture across NSW, ACT, QLD and Victoria.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in water and sewer infrastructure design and project delivery.
• Engineering degree required.
• Proficient with hydraulic design principles and industry standards.
• Ability to mentor graduates and deliver projects from concept to construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery of water supply and sewer projects across multiple sectors.
• Engage with clients, attend meetings and inspections, and manage project budgets.
• Develop proposals and contribute to business development.
• Mentor and supervise graduates and junior engineers.
