CGC Recruitment is seeking a Senior Water Engineer for Brisbane to join a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy expanding its water and wastewater capability.

You will lead the planning, design and delivery of projects, manage client relationships, and contribute to business development across Queensland and the wider Australian business. The role combines technical leadership with mentorship of junior engineers.

Competenze

• 8+ years of water and wastewater infrastructure experience.
• Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Current RPEQ registration.
• Experience delivering water and wastewater projects including treatment infrastructure.
• Strong hydraulic assessment and water infrastructure design skills.
• Experience managing projects from concept to detailed design and delivery.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to prepare scopes of work, proposals and tenders.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and project management.
• Ability to mentor developing engineers.
• Business development experience is highly regarded.

Senior Water Engineer

Location: Brisbane, QLD

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Water Engineer to join a well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy looking to expand its water and wastewater capability in Brisbane.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer who enjoys a combination of project delivery, client relationship management and business development. You will play a key role in growing the local water team, developing new client relationships and delivering a diverse range of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

Working closely with the business's water leadership team, you will take ownership of projects from concept through to detailed design and delivery, while contributing to opportunities across Queensland and the wider Australian business.

Key Responsibilities

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A minimum of 8 years' experience in water and wastewater infrastructure engineering.
• A degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
• Current RPEQ registration.
• Demonstrated experience delivering water and wastewater projects, including treatment infrastructure.
• Strong hydraulic assessment and water infrastructure design capabilities.
• Experience managing engineering projects from concept through to detailed design and delivery.
• Strong client-facing skills and experience managing key stakeholder relationships.
• The ability to prepare scopes of work, fee proposals and tender submissions.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and project management skills.
• The ability to provide technical guidance and mentor developing engineers.

  Experience contributing to business development and growing client accounts within an engineering consultancy will be highly regarded.
