Job summary

Charters Towers Regional Council seeks a Network Coordinator to lead and coordinate its water and wastewater reticulation delivery, ensuring safe, reliable outcomes for the community. You will provide technical advice, strategic oversight of network assets, and drive maintenance programs and renewal initiatives under limited direction.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring of staff to achieve safety and operational goals.
• Experience coordinating water and wastewater reticulation services and asset management.
• Ability to develop procedures, work practices and optimization plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate delivery of Council’s water and wastewater reticulation services to ensure safe, reliable outcomes for the community.
• Provide operational leadership, technical advice and strategic oversight of network assets, maintenance programs and infrastructure renewal initiatives.
• Exercise delegated decision-making, manage resources and operational risks, and contribute to planning, asset management and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and regulatory requirements.
