Job summary

Veolia Environmental Services, based in Brisbane, seeks an experienced Asset and Maintenance Manager to drive asset strategy across the Western Corridor Recycled Water Scheme. You will shape preventative maintenance, asset condition programs, and renewal planning while guiding the client and operational teams.

Reporting to the Scheme Operations Manager, you will lead a nine-person team, oversee asset registers, and manage service providers to improve reliability and asset life.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with RPEQ certification required.
• Experience with maintenance and asset management systems essential.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and chemical assets.
• Experience leading technical teams and managing budgets.
• Excellent stakeholder management and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continually improve Asset Management Plan and systems.
• Develop and deliver the annual 30-year Asset Renewal Plan.
• Define engineering standards and oversee engineering services.
• Lead preventative maintenance and asset condition programs.
• Prepare assessments, analyses and business cases.
• Manage maintenance contracts, expenditure and providers.
• Support budgets, lifecycle forecasts and capital priorities.
• Oversee asset registers, spare parts and drawing systems.
• Provide asset management reporting to stakeholders.
• Lead and develop a team of nine.
