Job summary

WorkPac is seeking an experienced wastewater engineer in Adelaide to provide technical leadership in servicing strategies to support growth programs. You will oversee hydraulic modelling, assess capacity, determine triggers, and mentor junior engineers.

You will lead up to 5 engineers, contribute to long-term capital pipelines and infrastructure staging, and engage with stakeholders to deliver safe, compliant, and sustainable infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications

  • Degree in civil, environmental or wastewater engineering.
  • 8+ years in wastewater network planning and hydraulic modelling.
  • Experience applying hydraulic modelling to growth strategies and developer assessments.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and manage a small team.
  • Strong stakeholder communication with a safety-first approach.
  • Flexible PAYG or ABN options with weekly pay.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute technical input into long-term capital investment pipelines and infrastructure staging.

About the Position

This Adelaide-based role provides technical leadership in wastewater servicing strategies to support major growth programs. You will oversee hydraulic modelling, evaluate developer connection impacts, determine infrastructure triggers, and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Flexible contract arrangements (PAYG or ABN options with weekly pay processing).
  • Highly competitive hourly rates ($85 - $125/hr + GST if applicable).
  • High-visibility senior leadership position on critical regional infrastructure programs.
