Job summary

Reserve Bank of Australia seeks a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join the Vulnerability & Posture Management team on a 2-year fixed-term basis. Hybrid work arrangement is offered, reporting to the VPM Manager, with a focus on reducing cyber risk and improving security posture.

The role involves coordinating vulnerability remediation, security hardening, and compliance across enterprise technology, using Tenable and ServiceNow SecOps, and delivering actionable metrics for governance and risk

Qualifications

• Experience with vulnerability management platforms (e.g., Tenable).
• Experience with ServiceNow SecOps and remediation workflows.
• Strong knowledge of vulnerability management, secure configuration standards and system hardening.
• Experience with exposure management, attack surface management, or risk-based vulnerability management.
• Ability to communicate technical risks to technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support vulnerability remediation and security hardening across enterprise environments.
• Coordinate responses to significant exposure events and emerging threats.
• Develop and enhance security metrics and reporting for governance and risk management.
• Support audits, compliance activities and vulnerability management initiatives.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Identity, End User Computing and Technology teams.
