Job summary

Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst (BAU) to support vulnerability remediation, security hardening, and compliance across enterprise technology. The role collaborates with Infrastructure, Cloud, Identity, and Security Architecture teams to reduce cyber risk and strengthen resilience in a hybrid Sydney environment.

You will drive remediation activities, improve security metrics, and contribute to ongoing BAU security improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with vulnerability management platforms such as Tenable and integration with ServiceNow SecOps.
• Strong knowledge of vulnerability management, secure configuration standards, and system hardening practices.
• Experience applying risk-based prioritisation methodologies using exploitability, asset criticality, and threat intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Support vulnerability management and security posture management capabilities including remediation governance and reporting.
• Coordinate responses to significant exposure events and emerging threats.
• Develop and enhance security metrics and reporting to improve compliance with security standards and risk appetite.
