Job summary

Evolution Mining is seeking a Senior Ventilation Engineer to lead the ventilation team at Ernest Henry and Bert Mines. You will ensure statutory compliance and optimise underground ventilation for safety and efficiency, reporting to the Superintendent - Short Term Planning.

You will mentor engineers, work with operations and technical teams, and drive continuous improvement in ventilation design and data analysis. FIFO and local resident options are available.

Qualifications

• Must have broad ventilation engineering expertise in underground mining.
• Experience as a Ventilation Officer in underground metalliferous operations preferred.
• Tertiary qualification in Mine Engineering or related discipline highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Fulfil statutory responsibilities of Ventilation Officer for Ernest Henry and Bert Mines under Queensland mining legislation.
• Monitor, analyse and optimise underground ventilation systems for safe, efficient mining.
• Manage ventilation data, modelling, inspections and surveys to ensure effectiveness.
• Provide ventilation advice and recommendations to site stakeholders.
