Job summary

Evolution Mining's Ernest Henry Operations is seeking a Senior Ventilation Engineer. You will be the Statutory Ventilation Officer, leading a small technical team and collaborating with operations to optimise underground ventilation across Ernest Henry and Bert Mines.

Based in Cloncurry with residential or FIFO options from Brisbane, Townsville or Cairns on an 8/6 roster, you will ensure compliance with Queensland mining legislation, model ventilation systems, analyse data, and provide informed

Qualifications

Significant underground mining experience with ventilation engineering and related mine functions.
Experience as a practising Ventilation Officer within underground metalliferous operations is preferred.
Ability to mentor engineers and influence safety and operational outcomes.

Responsibilities

Fulfil statutory Ventilation Officer responsibilities for Ernest Henry and Bert Mines under Queensland legislation.
Monitor, analyse and optimise underground ventilation to support safe, efficient mining.
Lead data management, modelling, inspections and surveys to keep systems effective.
Provide ventilation guidance and recommendations to site stakeholders.
