Job summary

EnergyAustralia Pty is seeking a senior Digital UX/UI Designer to lead the design system foundations and components across CTX squads. You will design customer-facing interfaces, establish tokens and patterns, and ensure accessibility and coherence across teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of end-to-end digital product design experience, hands-on system design, and strong communication. This 24-month max-term role is based in Victoria and offers a collaborative, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing digital products end to end.
• Hands-on experience designing and testing customer-facing interfaces.
• Experience building and running a design system.
• Systems thinking for reuse and coherence across teams.
• Practical accessibility capability with WCAG 2.2 AA.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain design system foundations: colour, typography, spacing, elevation, iconography and motion.
• Design each component from how customers behave with it, including input affordances, validation and error timing.
• Maintain documentation that lets designers and engineers use components without asking.
• Collaborate with product owners and engineers to deliver a cohesive system.
