Job summary

EnergyAustralia Pty is seeking a senior Digital UX/UI Designer to drive the design system foundations and components used across the Customer Transformation (CTX) squads. You will shape how customers interact with digital products through token-based design and accessible, reusable UI patterns.

The ideal candidate has deep experience delivering customer-facing interfaces, running a design system, and collaborating with engineers to ensure cohesive experiences across squads.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of end-to-end UX/UI design experience.
• Experience designing customer-facing interfaces with real user validation.
• Experience building and running a design system.
• Systems thinking with reusable components and coherent cross-team design.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain design system foundations: colour, typography, spacing, elevation, iconography and motion.
• Design each component from customer behavior, including input, validation, error timing, and loading states.
• Maintain documentation that enables designers and engineers to use components without blockers.
