Job summary

EnergyAustralia Pty is seeking a senior Digital UX/UI Designer to own the foundations and components of the design system used across CTX squads. You’ll design customer-facing experiences, ensure accessibility, and drive coherence across products.

The role emphasizes hands-on design with end-to-end delivery, documentation, and collaboration with engineers and product owners to create scalable, reusable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing digital products end-to-end.
• Hands-on UX/UI design with customer validation.
• Experience building and running a design system.
• WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility knowledge.
• Ability to design for reuse and coherence across squads.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the design system foundations (tokens, components, patterns).
• Design each component based on customer behavior, including input, validation, feedback and loading states.
• Maintain documentation to empower designers and engineers.
• Collaborate with CTX squads and engineering product owners.
• Test designs with real user feedback and ensure accessibility.
