Job summary

Veris is seeking a skilled Utility Locator to join our team in Australia. The role focuses on detecting and mapping underground utilities, ensuring safety and accuracy for our clients' projects.

You will perform field-based location activities and contribute to the data collection and management of subsurface information. The ideal candidate will have experience with GPR, SONDE and utility plans, and be able to work both independently and with Veris surveyors.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in utility mapping, surveying or equivalent experience.
• Experience with subsurface utility detection and location technologies.
• Ability to interpret utility owner plans and diagrams.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Detect and map underground utilities to ensure project safety and accuracy.
• Collect, record, and manage subsurface data for client requirements.
• Collaborate with Veris locators and surveyors during field operations.
• Occasional regional travel may be required.
