Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering.
• WA First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Strong underground hard rock mining experience.
• Demonstrated experience in mine planning and production leadership.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to safety, continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Promoting and enforcing a strong safety culture across the operation.
• Aligning production activities with short and medium-term mine plans.
• Reviewing and approving underground mine planning documentation.
• Leading, coaching and developing Underground Mining Engineers and technical personnel.
• Managing underground and surface projects, including contractor performance.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cost control processes.
• Preparing and approving capital expenditure submissions.
• Monitoring operational performance and reporting outcomes to senior leadership.
• Acting as the Registered Manager when required.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements as Alternate Underground Manager.
