Job summary

Go Engineering, a Western Australian mining engineering business, is seeking an experienced Senior Mining Engineer (Underground) to join our Contracting Division on a permanent full-time basis. Working FIFO and on-site across WA, you will provide senior production engineering and mine planning support within client operations.

You will lead short- and medium-term planning, develop production schedules, mentor graduates, and contribute to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver senior-level mining engineering support within operating mine sites.
• Lead short and medium-term mine planning activities.
• Develop and maintain practical production schedules and mining sequences.
• Support daily production engineering and drill and blast activities.
• Review and optimise mine plans, schedules, and operational processes.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Provide technical advice and engineering support to site leadership teams.
• Mentor graduate and developing engineers.
• Contribute to statutory compliance requirements and technical reporting.
• Promote safe, efficient, and sustainable mining practices.
