Job summary

Go Engineering, based in Western Australia, is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to join our Contracting Division on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be deployed to operating mine sites across Western Australia, delivering hands-on mine planning and technical services to client operations.

The role emphasizes developing short-, medium-, and long-term mine plans, improving planning systems, and providing practical engineering advice to site leadership, with FIFO deployment and strong

Qualifications

• Degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years in mine planning roles.
• Experience with Deswik, EPS or equivalent.
• Driver's license and Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mine planning support at operating mine sites.
• Develop and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term mine plans.
• Create mine designs, development plans, schedules, and forecasts.
• Produce planning deliverables using Deswik, EPS, or similar.
• Collaborate with operations and technical teams to optimise performance.
• Assist with drill and blast, ventilation, and infrastructure planning.
• Review and improve planning systems, workflows, reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and scheduling cycles.
• Provide technical advice to site leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement for safety and productivity.
