Job summary

Mineral Resources Limited is seeking a Senior Underground Mining Engineer to support the onsite restart and ramp-up of the Mount Marion underground mine. You will help deliver practical underground mine plans, schedules and technical outputs while coordinating with operations, contractors and corporate teams.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
• WA First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency required; Schedule 26 Certificate highly regarded.
• Strong underground mining engineering experience in large-scale mechanised long-hole stoping with pastefill.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute underground mine plans, schedules, costs and infrastructure.
• Deliver short-term planning to support operational readiness and steady-state production.
• Provide input across underground design, drill and blast, ventilation, geotechnical, pastefill and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Underground Superintendent, operations teams and contractors to ensure practical, safe, and executable plans.
• Monitor performance, identify variances and support corrective actions.
• Assist with contractor coordination, performance monitoring and compliance from a technical planning perspective.
• Collaborate with corporate teams to support contracting strategies and ramp-up requirements.
• Support development and implementation of underground planning systems and reporting tools.
