Job summary

Zinfra Pty Ltd. is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to shape and deliver major transmission infrastructure projects in Australia.

You will provide technical input across bid development, detailed design and project delivery, collaborating with clients, delivery teams, consultants and contractors. The role focuses on practical, constructable engineering solutions and contributing to the energy transition, with a strong emphasis on standards, governance and delivering value in a

Qualifications

Degree in Structural Engineering preferred; electrical or related discipline may be considered.
Experience delivering transmission line designs within electricity transmission or energy infrastructure.
Strong understanding of Australian/international design standards and tendering processes.
Experience with PLS CADD and PLS Tower.
Space GASS or similar structural software is an advantage.
Experience supporting major bids and EPC projects with technical solution development.
Ability to challenge constructively and maintain high standards under pressure.

Responsibilities

Develop transmission line design solutions (line, tower, foundations) for bids and major projects.
Lead technical input into tenders, value engineering, constructability reviews and risk assessments.
Review design deliverables and calculations for quality and compliance.
Manage client, consultant, supplier and project-team relationships to meet objectives.
Contribute to standards, tools, and capability uplift across the engineering function.
