Job summary

Zinfra is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead high‑voltage transmission line projects across New South Wales for our client, Transgrid. This role focuses on safe, on‑time, and on‑budget delivery with a flexible arrangement and site attendance as needed.

You will work with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders to drive outcomes, balancing commercial objectives with safety and governance across a dynamic portfolio of projects.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering transmission, utilities, or major infrastructure projects.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary EPC project teams.
• Strong financial forecasting and contract administration.
• Sound risk management and safety focus.
• Tertiary qualification in a related engineering or management field.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of transmission line projects in NSW.
• Lead planning, forecasting and performance monitoring.
• Build relationships with Transgrid, contractors and stakeholders.
• Oversee contractor performance and ensure schedule/quality.
• Drive project governance, risk management and compliance.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate resources and ensure qualified personnel.
• Manage project financial performance including forecasting and cost control.
• Promote safety culture through site visits and audits.
