Job summary

Hatch is seeking a Senior Transmission Lines Engineer (Electrical) to lead the design and delivery of overhead transmission line projects across Australia. Join our Power team and collaborate with utilities, EPC contractors and project owners to deliver safe, innovative infrastructure.

You will provide technical leadership from concept through detailed design, construction support, and commissioning, while mentoring others and upholding engineering excellence across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years' experience in the design and delivery of overhead transmission line projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and engineering judgement capabilities.
• Knowledge of Australian and international standards (IEC, IEEE, CIGRE, AS/NZS).

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of overhead transmission line projects across Australia.
• Provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle from concept to commissioning.
• Engage with utilities, renewable energy developers, EPC contractors and owners to deliver high-quality outcomes.
