UGL is seeking an experienced Transmission Line Engineer to join the North Sydney team. You will deliver detailed design work for transmission lines, develop PLS-CADD models, and support both tenders and live projects.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, maintaining high-quality design outputs and ensuring compliance with standards. A pathway to leadership and mentoring is available.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified engineer with qualifications recognised by Engineers Australia.
• Minimum 5 years’ post-graduate experience in the transmission line industry.
• Strong experience in transmission line design and engineering delivery.
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD, PLS Tower and PLS Pole.
• Solid understanding of tower and foundation design principles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Deliver transmission line design work including modelling and detailed engineering outputs.
• Develop PLS-CADD models and support PLS Tower and PLS Pole design activities.
• Produce line design reports, stringing charts, plan and profile drawings.
• Perform engineering calculations and develop technical specifications and documentation.
• Conduct constructability assessments and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Liaise with geotechnical engineers, suppliers and other external stakeholders.
• Provide technical support across tendering, construction and project delivery phases.
