Job summary

The North Face is seeking a Senior Training Specialist and Retail HR Partner to support Australia and New Zealand, collaborating with the HR Partner, AUNZ, the APAC Academy Team, and the broader Global HR group. You will design and deliver retail training, manage Workday onboarding, assist with recruitment, and provide in-store coaching to develop leaders across multiple brands and channels.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Australian employment law, and ideally New Zealand as well.
• Experience working with HR systems (we use Workday).
• Exposure to recruitment processes and preparing employment agreements.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing training programs end-to-end, from needs analysis through evaluation.
• Understanding of retail operations across direct-to-consumer, distributor-to-partner, and wholesale models.
• Experience designing and delivering coaching frameworks that improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Support Human Resources and Training across Australia and New Zealand, working with HR Partner, AUNZ, APAC Academy Team, and Global HR.
• Manage onboarding tasks in Workday and assist with employment agreements.
• Design and deliver retail training across brand fundamentals, sales excellence, and leadership development.
• Provide coaching in stores and support managers in building teams and leaders.
• Maintain HR content, manage HR inbox, and support payroll and benefits processes.
• Monitor recruitment activity and regional staffing requirements.
• Coordinate mandatory training follow-ups and employment law compliance.
• Support internal moves, promotions, terminations, and exit processes.
• Track training effectiveness and report on participation and impact.
• Coordinate regional safety and well-being initiatives.
