Job summary

Dynatrace Services seeks a skilled consultant to deliver deployment, training and managed services on the Dynatrace Unified Platform from Canberra. You will partner with enterprise customers and design dashboards to maximise platform value.

With 2+ years in APM or related IT disciplines, you’ll troubleshoot complex issues, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to identify growth opportunities while representing Dynatrace professionally.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in APM or related IT disciplines.
• Hands-on with Java or .NET and modern web techs.
• Knowledge of microservices, distributed systems and web apps.
• Experience with enterprise platforms (Java, .NET, JavaScript, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Citrix).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of services that are based on the Dynatrace Unified Platform, from deployment and training to long-term managed services. To ensure new consultants are sufficiently equipped for success, Dynatrace Services provides an outstanding training program that is a mix of classroom, v-learning, self-study, and in-the-field observation activities. Once training is complete, consultants are expected to represent Dynatrace in the highest professional manner, through written and oral communications, to ensure maximum client satisfaction for all engagements. You are expected to represent Dynatrace as a product expert and a trusted advisor in Digital Transformation.

Responsibilities

Partner with enterprise customers to maximise the value of their Dynatrace investment

Monitor application performance and availability, identifying opportunities for optimisation and improvement

Troubleshoot complex performance issues and support root-cause analysis across customer environments

Design and deliver dashboards, reporting, and observability solutions for technical and business stakeholders

Drive adoption of the Dynatrace platform through onboarding, enablement, and best-practice guidance

Deliver consulting services that improve customer outcomes and accelerate platform maturity

Maintain the health, configuration, and ongoing optimisation of Dynatrace deployments

Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and technical teams to identify opportunities for growth and innovation

Provide clear project updates, documentation, and stakeholder communications throughout customer engagements

What will help you succeed

• 2+ years' experience in Application Performance Monitoring (APM), performance engineering, software development, systems administration, network administration, or related IT disciplines.

• Hands-on experience with Java or .NET applications and modern web technologies.

• Knowledge of enterprise application architectures, including microservices, distributed systems, and web applications.

• Experience with technologies such as Java, .NET, JavaScript, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Citrix, or similar enterprise platforms.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to solve complex technical challenges.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• A passion for technology, continuous learning, and delivering outstanding customer outcomes.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and work independently when required.

Desired

• Previous consulting experience and / or Project Management experience is a plus

• Cloud and Infrastructure technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes

• NV1 Security Clearance is highly regarded, candidates who are eligible and willing to obtain an NV1 Security Clearance.
