Help shape the future of gambling reform through technology, innovation and meaningful public impact. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technology Business Analyst to join the NSWSER Program Team, playing a pivotal role in delivering one of NSW's most significant gambling reform initiatives.
Working exclusively on the implementation of the NSWSER System, you will act as the critical link between policy, regulatory operations, technology delivery teams and external vendors. You will translate complex business, legislative and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications that support the successful delivery of technology solutions. This is a hands‑on role for an experienced technology-focused Business Analyst who enjoys working across the full project lifecycle. You will facilitate requirements discussions, analyse system integrations and data flows, support solution design activities, and lead testing and validation processes to ensure solutions meet both business and technical objectives. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, architects, developers and vendors while maintaining end‑to‑end traceability from requirements through to solution delivery, testing and implementation. While vendors will produce much of the project documentation, you will play a key role in reviewing, validating and assuring the quality and completeness of deliverables. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high‑profile government reform program where your work will directly influence the successful delivery of complex technology outcomes that benefit the people of New South Wales.
About You
You are an experienced Technology Business Analyst with a proven track record delivering IT projects in complex environments. You have strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to translate business and functional requirements into clear technical specifications. You bring experience working with system integrations, APIs, data flows and testing across the full project lifecycle. Confident engaging with both business and technical stakeholders, you can facilitate discussions, challenge assumptions, and ensure solutions are delivered to a high standard.
If you're passionate about solving complex problems and delivering technology outcomes that make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.
