Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor based in Queensland, Australia. You will lead the workshop and technicians, ensure safe site work, and nurture client relationships. The role requires strong leadership, planning, and a proactive approach to service delivery.

You will coordinate equipment design/build, safety inductions, and training while managing costs and schedules. Travel within the region may be required, with a focus on high service standards and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Fitter & Turner or equivalent (C10+).
• Leadership/management experience in field service or workshop.
• Experience in heavy industrial environments (mining, refining, pipeline, power generation).
• Excellent client service and relationship skills.
• Ability to work with deadlines and with minimal supervision.
• Willingness for overtime and weekends when required.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer literacy and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational performance and administration of the workshop and technicians.
• Assist with customer liaison and development of new business opportunities.
• Schedule, plan, and ensure safe completion of site work and service projects.
• Supervise and develop performance of both permanent and casual staff.
• Manage design/build of new equipment and maintenance of existing equipment.
• Conduct safety inductions and training plans for personnel.
• Monitor job sheets, ensure accurate charging, and cost control.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workshop environment.
• Coordinate training to support ongoing skills development.
