The role covers planning, supervision of apprentices, collaboration with contractors, and ensuring adherence to HSEQ policies on site. You will help maintain workshop productivity and contribute to training new team members, within a global company dedicated to safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical, hydraulic and electrical environments is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good literacy and numeracy for reading manuals and calculating parts.
• Self-motivated, able to work unsupervised and make on-the-spot decisions.
• Highly organised with a structured approach to workshop tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and scheduling workshop jobs to meet on-time completion.
• Coordinate with contractors and sub-contractors as required.
• Assist in training and supervising apprentices.
• Provide accurate WIP feedback to the Workshop Supervisor for open customer service jobs.
• Ensure quality control checks are completed for all workshop jobs.
• Ensure repairs align with quotes and report any additional work.
• Support with daily prestart meetings and enforce HSEQ policies.
