Xero is seeking a Senior Technical SEO Manager to own the technical SEO roadmap and analytics for xero.com, ensuring discoverability and measurable improvement across engines and AI answer systems.

You will lead audits across markets, translate findings into a prioritized roadmap, partner with engineering to deliver fixes, and build automated reporting to turn data into action.

You will shape how millions of users find Xero, working within a hybrid/remote setup across Australia and New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Deep, hands‑on technical SEO expertise across crawl and indexation, internationalisation, rendering, schema markup and site architecture.
• Substantial SEO experience, with several years in a technical SEO focused role at a SaaS, technology brand or complex multi‑regional site.
• Strong SEO analytics capability with reporting frameworks and proficiency in tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs and the Google suite.
• Hands‑on with AI, having built agents, automations or workflows to scale your own work.

Responsibilities

• Lead a full technical audit of the marketing website across markets, prioritized by business impact.
• Define and own the technical SEO roadmap with clear stakeholder visibility.
• Partner with engineering and marketing technology to embed technical SEO best practices and deliver fixes.
• Own the SEO analytics function, building automated reporting and delivering strategic insight.
• Automate technical SEO workflows with AI agents to scale analysis and accelerate delivery.
