Job summary

PWR Advanced Cooling Technology is expanding its procurement team in Stapylton, Queensland, hiring a Technical Procurement Officer to source and secure technically specified components, materials and services for engineering and manufacturing functions.

You will read engineering drawings, BOMs, and specs, engage suppliers at a technical level, and partner with design, engineering, quality and production to ensure on-time delivery, right cost, and conformance to requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience reading engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Ability to challenge designs and engage suppliers technically.
• Experience in procurement within technical manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Source materials and components to meet project requirements.
• Lead RFQs/RFPs and negotiate terms with suppliers.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, quality, and production teams.
• Maintain purchasing data in ERP and project management systems.
• Support cost reduction and supplier improvement initiatives.
