Job summary

PWR Advanced Cooling Technology, Stapylton QLD, is seeking a Senior Structural Analysis Engineer to lead advanced structural and dynamic analyses for high-performance cooling solutions across aerospace and defence projects.

The role focuses on validating designs to meet stringent reliability and certification requirements, contributing to innovative thermal management solutions for demanding environments. This is a fulltime on-site position on the Gold Coast region.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 7 years experience in structural analysis and finite element modelling (FEA) within a product development environment.
• Experience performing static structural, vibration, modal, fatigue and dynamic analyses.
• Experience supporting products through the design, validation, testing and certification lifecycle.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality technical outcomes to tight deadlines.
• Aerospace and/or Defence industry experience, including exposure to subsystem development, will be highly regarded.
• Working knowledge of aerospace and defence standards such as DO-160, MIL-STD-810 or similar certification requirements will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• The primary role of the Senior Structural Analysis Engineer is to evaluate and validate product designs through advanced structural and dynamic analysis, ensuring performance, reliability and certification requirements are achieved while supporting the successful delivery of customer projects.
