Job summary

JLL is recruiting a Technical Facilities Manager in Sydney, Australia. You will lead engineering and operational activities to keep client workplaces safe, compliant, and running efficiently, coordinating with Security, Dining Services and landlords.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, manage day-to-day technical requirements, and drive continuous improvement in portfolio metrics while partnering with the Workplace team and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering management or senior facilities management experience.
• Thorough understanding of building services design and engineering management principles.
• Strong analytical, organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and quality assurance programs.
• Experience in Asia Pacific, preferably Australia, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with major works including power-down planning, execution and project management for new construction and refurbishment initiatives.
• Oversee daily preventive maintenance of all building equipment and assume full Engineering Manager responsibilities during their absence.
• Monitor daily log books and utility consumption records with accurate equipment history and reports.
• Coordinate with external vendors and agencies for repair and maintenance; QA for outsourced critical works.
• Inspect equipment and engineering systems to maintain operational standards and quality of procured goods.
• Provide 24/7 on-call incident management support for corporate real estate buildings and data centers.
